The Bermuda Electric Light Company (BELCO) is inviting young students to participate in the annual Kite Safety Poster Competition. This educational contest encourages children in Primary 1 and Primary 2 to learn about safe kite flying while expressing their creativity through art.   Participants are asked to design a poster that promotes kite safety awareness, helping children understand the importance of flying kites safely and avoiding power lines. The competition is part of BELCO’s ongoing efforts to educate the community about electrical safety, especially during Bermuda’s kite-flying season.   Parents and guardians are encouraged to help their children submit their posters before the submission deadline of March 13, 2026. A variety of prizes will be awarded to winning entries.   For full competition details and submission guidelines, visit:https://belco.bm/kitesafety/
